How does the draw actually work?
Each 15-minute window, one spot is picked and moved to #1. Spots that have never held #1 go first, chosen at random among themselves — if you've just paid and everyone around you has already had a turn, you're next in line, not waiting on luck. Once every spot has had at least one turn, it's an even random pick across all of them. The window is computed when someone loads the page rather than by a background job, so with nobody watching it can sit past 15 minutes until the next visitor arrives.
Can I pay more to improve my odds?
No. Every spot is a flat dollar and counts the same as everyone else's — there is nothing to top up and no way to buy a better position. Submitting more than once gets you more spots on the wall, and each one takes its own turn; it doesn't make any single spot more likely to be picked than anyone else's.
